Many roles come with vaccination requirements set by occupational health or the employer’s risk assessment: hepatitis B for anyone exposed to blood or body fluids (healthcare, care, tattooists, cleaners, prison and police staff), hepatitis A and typhoid for sewage and some food work, rabies for vets and animal handlers, MMR and varicella for clinical staff without proof of immunity, tetanus boosters for construction and outdoor work.
Getting these through a GP can take weeks and isn’t always available. Our branches run a private occupational clinic that delivers the course, schedules follow-up doses around your start date, and provides a signed record for your employer.
For employers, we can book a team in as a block or stagger them, and give a single point of contact for the paperwork. Live vaccines (MMR, varicella) aren’t suitable in pregnancy or with weakened immunity — our pharmacists check that before every dose.
30-minute pharmacist consultation, supplied under a Patient Group Direction. Book a time at your branch or walk in.
