Employers have a duty to assess biological risks and, where vaccination is part of the control measure, to make it available. For most organisations that means hepatitis B for anyone who could meet blood or body fluids, and a seasonal flu programme; some roles add hepatitis A, tetanus boosters, rabies or MMR.
The problem is logistics: staff chasing GP appointments in their own time, nobody tracking who has had which dose, and no paperwork at the end. We run occupational vaccination as a service for employers: you send us the roles and the risk assessment, we map the vaccines and schedules, staff book into any of our six branches or attend a block session, and you get a consolidated record. See the occupational vaccinations page and what different jobs actually need.
Seasonal flu is the easy win: a private flu jab per employee, booked online, cuts winter absence for a modest cost per head. Hepatitis B needs planning because the course runs six months — or two on the accelerated schedule; see our guide for workers.
To set one up, ask for an employer quote at your nearest branch or use the contact page. We’ll need the number of staff, the roles, and your start date.
30-minute pharmacist consultation, supplied under a Patient Group Direction. Book a time at any of our six branches or walk in.
