Girls and boys from 9, adults of any age. The NHS offers it in school (Year 8) and to men who have sex with men up to 45 — everyone else, including adults who missed it, can have it privately.
Yes. Even if you’ve been exposed to some HPV types, the vaccine still protects against the others, and the cancers it prevents can take decades to develop.
A sore arm, sometimes a mild headache or feeling faint for a few minutes afterwards. Serious reactions are very rare.
