Piriton Children's Allergy Syrup is an oral antihistamine liquid containing 2mg of chlorphenamine maleate per 5ml. It provides fast relief from hay fever, pet and dust allergies, insect bites, skin rashes, and the itchy discomfort of chickenpox. It is suitable for children aged 1 year and older.
Use the measuring spoon provided for accurate dosing.
Children 1-2 years: One 2.5ml spoonful twice daily (max 5ml).
Children 2-6 years: One 2.5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours (max 15ml).
Children 6-12 years: One 5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours (max 30ml).
Adults and children over 12 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls every 4-6 hours (max 60ml).
Elderly: Consult your doctor before use.
May cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive or operate machinery. Avoid alcoholic drink. If symptoms persist consult your doctor. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Store Piriton Children's Syrup below 25°C in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight. Keep the bottle tightly closed and completely out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
Each 5 ml of syrup contains 2 mg of chlorphenamine maleate as the active ingredient. Also includes sucrose, ethanol and a mixture of methyl, ethyl and propyl hydroxybenzoates (E218, 214, 216).
