If you collect the same medicines every month, you do not need to keep making the trip. Nominate one of our branches and your prescription comes to us electronically from your GP, and we deliver it to your door at no charge.
Nomination is a one-line change on your GP record saying which pharmacy your prescriptions go to. You can do it through the NHS App, ask your surgery, or ask us and we will do it. It takes effect on your next prescription, not the one already in the system — which is the single most common source of confusion.
You are not locked in. You can change nomination whenever you like, as often as you like, and you do not have to explain why.
Deliveries around Stourbridge run from Wychbury Pharmacy, Wychbury Medical Centre, 121 Oakfield Road, Wollescote, Stourbridge DY9 9DS. Our own driver does the round, not a courier, which means the person at your door can answer a question and take a message back to the pharmacist.
Medicine shortages are a fact of life at the moment. If one item on your prescription is unavailable, we do not sit on the whole thing waiting — we deliver what we have and chase the rest, and you get told which is which. If a substitution is needed, that needs the prescriber, and we will start that conversation rather than leaving you to.
Call 01562 882743, use our nomination form, or walk in. If you are moving from another pharmacy, you do not need to tell them — the change happens on the GP record.
Any of the six branches can be nominated:
