Collecting Your Prescription From a Different Branch

Six branches, one group. If it is easier to pick something up somewhere else, that is usually possible.

Prescriptions

Your nominated branch is where the GP sends your prescription, and where it is dispensed. If you cannot get there, ring the branch — often the simplest answer is delivery rather than a transfer.

Shop orders

Everything ordered through the online shop is dispensed and checked at Lyng Pharmacy, then moved to your chosen branch for collection. You will be emailed when it is on its way and again when it has arrived, so you are not making a wasted trip.

How long a transfer takes

Usually the next working day. It is our own team moving stock between our own branches, not a courier, so it goes when the run goes.

Pharmacy medicines

Anything needing a pharmacist's check is checked before it leaves Lyng. If the pharmacist needs to ask you something first, you will get a call — the order does not move until that conversation has happened.
